IN THE NAME OF LOVE / ARMASTUSE NIMEL Eksklusiivne Eliisabeti kirikusse loodud valguslavastus paneb U2 tuntuimad hitid kõlama Pärnu Linnaorkestri täiskoosseisu, Pärnu Kammerkoori ja rokkbändiga. Valgus, video ja laserid loovad ajaloolisse kirikusse lummava ja müstilise atmosfääri. U2, mille tegutsemisest saab tänavu 50 aastat, on läbi aegade rääkinud olulistel ühiskondlike teemadel. Bono mõte “rahu ei ole pelgalt sõja puudumine, vaid õigluse kohalolu” on tänases ebaõiglases maailmas ikka kohane ja puudutav. Lavastuse solistideks-jutustajateks on tuntud Eesti rokk-muusik Mihkel Raud ja näitleja Katrin Pärn. Etenduse pikkus on u 1 tund. “In the name of love” Specially created for St. Elizabeth’s Church, this immersive light production reimagines U2’s greatest hits with the full Pärnu City Orchestra, Pärnu Chamber Choir and a live rock band.Through a blend of light, video, and lasers, the historic space is transformed into a mesmerizing and otherworldly environment. Marking nearly five decades of U2’s music, the performance reflects the band’s enduring engagement with social and human issues. Bono’s belief that "True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice" feels as relevant and moving as ever in today’s world. Featuring Mihkel Raud and Katrin Pärn as soloists and narrators.
